O projecto Casa de Jantar surge através do convite da OSSO a Rui Pinheiro para que se realizasse uma residência de criação em torno da fotografia sob a premissa que de alguma forma envolvesse a comunidade de São Gregório. O resultado é apresentado sob a forma impressa de jornal, mostrando imagens arquivo com imagens actuais. Dos anos 30 à atualidade. - Rui Pinheiro, 2021

“Quando o Rui me pediu para escrever um texto para o Projeto Casa de Jantar, veio-me imediatamente à memória - e é de memória que tratamos - a pesquisa que João Paulo Serafim tem vindo a realizar há vários anos, cujo resultado (um de muitos resultados, pois este será sempre um trabalho em curso)  apresentou em 2018, na Escola das Artes, no Porto - “A Invenção da Memória". O Projeto Casa de Jantar, a meu ver, possui paralelismos com o trabalho mencionado, e considero que o encontramos também nos nossos percursos individuais. Não consigo deixar de me rever no projeto ao revisitar as fotografias registadas pelo meu pai com a sua Zeiss a partir dos anos 50 do século passado. Todos possuímos arquivos familiares de imagens que guardamos de forma egoísta ou que podemos partilhar generosamente como a população de S. Gregório o faz ao participar neste projeto. The "Casa de Jantar" project emerged through OSSO's invitation to Rui Pinheiro to carry out a creative residency centered around photography with the premise that it would, in some way, involve the São Gregório community. The Casa de Jantar Project, in my view, has parallels with the work mentioned, and I think we also find it in our individual journeys. I can't help but revisit the project as I revisit the photographs recorded by my father with his Zeiss from the 50s of the last century.
